Japanese gardens.

End of 2019, I went to Japan for the third time. Before my surgery.

It was in October and is normally a nice season, not too hot and not damp.

Two years before I did the same stay on my own and had beautiful weather.

This time the next day of our arrival it was very, very hot and damp.

The following day it was the day of the big typhoon.

We were out in the golden temple garden and we could hear the trees falling in the park , there was strong wind and heavy rain.

We were in Kyoto and have been safe whereas in other part of Japan it was flooded , houses were destroyed  and there were landslides everywhere. Our children were very worried after having seen the situation on tv.

Well, we manage to continue our visit despite of this situation.

We visited lots of Kyoto’s gardens and temples.

I love Japanese gardens , their quite atmosphere, all is well structured and most of the time has a signification , especially zen gardens.

Most of the gardens we saw where around temples and water is always part of the garden with a little bridge like in Monet’s garden.

I hope you enjoy the visit!
